The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG was one of the most highly anticipated footwear collaborations of 2017, marking the first collaboration between Jordan Brand and Virgil Abloh, founder of Milan-based fashion label Off-White. Released as part of The Ten collection, this landmark project redefined sneaker design through deconstruction and conceptual storytelling.

Nicknamed “The Ten” edition, the pair arrives in the original Chicago-inspired white, black, and varsity red colourway. The upper features a deconstructed leather build with exposed foam edges and visible stitching throughout. The medial side is Swooshless and printed with the signature text: “Off-White™ for NIKE Air Jordan 1, Beaverton, Oregon, USA © 1985”, reinforcing the industrial design language.

Additional defining details include floppy ankle collars with a hidden “85” printed inside, an oversized off-centered Swoosh on the lateral panels, bold “AIR” lettering on the midsole, and the word “Shoelaces” printed on the laces. The tongue is intentionally left unbranded, further emphasizing the raw, unfinished aesthetic that defines the collaboration.
